I'm Maren Butenhoff, a graphic designer based in Minnesota with an MFA in Sustainable Design from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design and a BFA in Graphic Design from Concordia College. I've spent my career working at the intersection of strong visual storytelling and meaningful brand work — from designing performance-driven email campaigns and social content to leading rebranding projects for sustainability-focused companies.

I believe design is most powerful when it has a real reason to exist. Whether I'm building a brand identity from scratch, designing an email that actually converts, or crafting social content that stops the scroll, I bring both a sharp eye for detail and a genuine investment in the work I put my name on.

When I'm not designing I'm sewing, thrifting for fabric, and building my own small sustainable goods brand — because making things by hand keeps me connected to why design matters in the first place.
